HOUSING PROJECT

We have about three weeks left before the house is built for Priscilla Simons and her + 40 kids, who are either orphaned or have HIV.

Pick `n Pay together with Wang Thai restaurants hosted an auction and raised R152, 000 to build a house for them, as they all live in a shack.

You have to see the condition of the place to believe, but with assistance from a few building suppliers we are delighted to know that soon they will be living in a decent house.

There are still finishing touches we still need to do, like paint the inside and outside of the house as well as make the place comfortable with the basic necessities.

Ochre Media have kindly agreed to donate the built in cupboards for the house and Pick 'n Pay, Wang Thai and Ochre Media shall be visiting the site on the 9th November 2006.
