Pricilla Simons started Helping Hands support group in 2000 in Elsiesriver. She is HIV positive and has two children of her own. She has made a pledge to reach out and help children in the same situation as herself.

She started by volunteering at the Elsies Day Hospital, assisting with counseling and then set up Helping Hands. Pricilla has done motivational speeches at school, churches, prisons and corporate companies. Pricilla has given interviews for Radio Tygerberg and KC Radio in Paarl.
