Helping Hands is a place of safety and home to many children in the Wellington area who have been abused or have been orphaned or infected by HIV/AIDS.

Pricilla Simons, the founder of Helping Hands works from an office kindly donated by Absa Bank in Wellington. Priscilla provides daily meals for the children in the area 3 times a week kindly donated by Pick ‘n Pay in Wellington.

Each year a Christmas Party with is held for the children sponsored by various companies. Helping Hands recognizes and supports the grandparents as well as they are often the primary care givers by hosting a Grandparents Day.
